A firepit or out door kitchen is a great way to complete any backyard landscape. What better way to unwind at the end of a long hard day, than sitting with your family by a cozy fire and roasting marsh mellows. When it comes to designing your firepit or summer kitchen, the possibilities are endless. Flagstone or stacked stone are both great choices for the your summer kitchen and firepit. The pit can be round, square or free form, it can be sunk into the ground or above, even both.
This outdoor firepit was built using natural stone that was quarried in Pennsylvania. P.A. Blue flagstone was installed as a random mosaic veneer. Natural flagstone was also installed as a sand set patio deck completing the outdoor firepit area. This firepit was also featured by "Tom's Dig" in the Orlando Sentinel.
This is an outdoor kitchen featuring a custom stone fireplace, charcole grill and a roll out gas grill. Simulated stone was installed as a drystacked veneer and natural stone tiles complete the counter tops and back splash.
