When remodeling your fireplace you have a few design choices to make. Rock, brick or stone can be used on the exterior of the fireplace. You may be asking yourself whats the difference in a veneer or a dry stack? The answer is simple, the veneer application is best used for a zero clearance area, and is installed flat against the surface of the fireplace. The dry stack is best used in an area that can allow five to six inches of stone to be installed onto the surface of the fireplace. While all masonry is applied with mortar, a dry stack has the mortar raked from its joints giving the illusion that there was no mortar used in construction.

     This is an out door kitchen featuring a custom fireplace, charcole grill and a roll out gas grill. Simulated stone was drystacked as a veneer and natural stone tile complete the counter tops and back splash.  

     This fireplace completes the rustic look of this log cabin located in Leesburg, Florida. Simulated stone was installed as a drystacked veneer giving the appearance of a natural rock fireplace and Chimney.

     This fireplace was created using a mixture of simulated and natural stone. The natural stone consists of the hearth stones, the key stone and the four corbels. The mantel was carved from a single piece of live oak harvested and dried right here in Florida.

     This Winter Park, fireplace Is dry stacked with broken field stone from Pennsylvania. It features a solid stone mantel and solid stone corbels.

     This fireplace is dry stacked with Cherry Log flagstone. Each peice of stone was hand crafted and carved with a hammer and chisel to create a one of a kind custom fire place.    

     This Fireplace is dry stacked with Tennessee broken stone and features a solid stone mantel that was hand carved from a single peice of stone. There is also a hidden compartment built into the stone that is undetectable by even the sharpest eye.
